genting trip (the story)

i went to meet chyn at wangsa maju, sometime around 10am. took the lrt. trip was quite long long, ermm..like 40 mins. not much people around since it was saturday. reached wangsa maju, went to my bro's place to take my camera from his girlfriend. meet chyn up at a restaurant. ordered western food (chicken shop with black pepper sauce), but it was a fucking bad meal. the fucking man was son fucking stingy with his sauce that he spread a fucking thin layer of the gravy on the chicken. it was only partially covered. when i asked for them for a bit more, they said the had ran out of black pepper sauce. i should just throw away the damn food at his face. i'm fucking mad.

later proceed to the lrt. went to the last station (gombak-terminal putra). buy 2 tickets to genting skyway station. it cost us like 6.60 each. our bus is at 1pm so we had to wait for like an hour fo rthe next bus. both of us lepaked around the bus stand, chatting around. then i saw someone that is so familiar. i only saw her back. i'm pretty sure that it was her. no..it was not my lost long friend or something. not the girl that i had a crush for 10 years. it was MY SISTER!!!. i really couldnt believe my eyes when i saw her at the station. she mentioned that she will be going to genting highlands, but i'm not sure when. i went near her, but before i approached her, i try to make sure that it was her. i walked up to her, tapped her shoulder and she was surprised that i was there. i asked her what time is her bus. same as me...we took the same bus too. and when queuing for the skyway (the cable car service to genting), my sis and her friends/colleagues were only a few person in front of us. but the bloody queue was damn long. it took more than half-an hour to reach the cable car.

finally reach genting. walk to our hotel. before that, chyn need to rregister and take our key card from the tour agent. we were lost. cant exacly where the hell is that fucking place (the tour agent's counter) chyn needs to call quite a few times. we got the card, so ti's time to check in. fianlly..but it was already like 3 pm. we put our things in the room, i took my camera since it will quite dangerous for me to leave something valuable in the room. i was damn lazy to go for our lunch...if can i will just eat the instant cup noodles that i bring along with me with other junk food like biscuits, instant soup, twisties etc.

went down the hotel, head to the the first world indoor theme park. there's hell lot of fast food chains..KFC, Mcd etc. we chose KFC. finish our meal, went for a walk. wanted to catch a movie, but unfortunately, there were no more tickets. went speedy...wanted to buy a cd, but i can't. i'm already jobless. maybe next time... spent quite a long time in the CD outlet.

sleeping time...rest for a few hour. chyn will be going to 'lee hom's' concert while i'm free to do what ever i like to do. wanted to go for a few rounds at the arcade, it was too far away. so i just settle down in the hotel room. watch tv and read the newspaper. i was hungry so i went to the water dispenser, took some hot water and prepare my meal of the day, instant cup noodles and some biscuits. the show on tv was quite boring....

i called my sis whether she wanted to join us in the casino. at first she decline saying that her friends wanted to watch a movie. so it's just me and chyn going to the casino. later i got a call from my sister (when i'm in the toilet, and chyn answered my call). saying that she's waiting for us at the lobby. finished my business, left for the lobby, and casino here i come.

i tried a few rounds at the gambling machine. i'm not very good with gambling. but personally i think playing at the machine are pretty dumb. all you do is just press a few buttons, and watch your money goes down and down. it went up a bit, but so often it went down and down and down till i burnt up 180 bucks from my bank accounts. arghhh....

to be continued...

chyn's concert finally finished. he came back

genting trip etc

why the hell each time i stopped working or resign or being fucking laid off from a company, i woul dalways ended up going for a genting trip. it's been twice already. i think it's a damn curse or omen. went to interview today at kelana jaya, not very satisfied. i think i need to learn more. at first when i went in, the company looked like some vice den or mahjong den. it was pretty dark at the entrance, and there was an altar just in front of the entrance. wanna keep the bads things away... so later i proceed to the reception counter, ti was quite messy. and the first thing i listened if chinese songs from the radio. not that i hated chinese songs but it was those typical 'ai wo, ai ni' kinda song. if work there, it would hell for my ears. everyday i would have to endure 8 hours ++ of ai wo, ai ni chinese songs. thinking of that already gives me the creep.

i was given a form to fill up. so i sat doewn a the receptionist table, fill in the form. and the same time, i would survey the surrounding area, it was small, a bit messy. and some equipment were quite old esp those PC's and imax scanners. it looked like a scanner from the 80's (but it's not..i'm sure that the smoke from the incense covered the scanner. it took me quite a long time to fill in the form (and i forgotten to fill in the back part. cilaka....
i still sitting there waiting for my turn. there was another guy sitting there. i'm not sure whether he wanted to apply for a graphic post post or whtatever. i heard some of the conversation. that guy mentioned about graphic design, kancil award, advertising thingy etc. sounds terror.. but i dont give a damn lah.

NEXT..my turn. went in to the boss' room, sat down. he gave me a card (his name card) and asked some questions bout my previous job and company. but this time i wont be that stupid to reveal that i was retrenced from the murad hashim. for some people, a lot of people felt that all the people that were retrenched were the bad people, that they cant perform and that's why they got kicked out. so..to save myself and my career and i decided not to talk anything bout my retrenchment. there's 1 thing that i don't understand (the action of those people in the management level in murad hashim). they already kicked me out, saying that they wanted to restructure the company. ok, fine with me. i accepted that decision. then that when i'm in the conference room, i was told that the MD, and GM was satisfied with my performance, far off better than the 1st month. and the reason they wanted to reterenced us was strictly a business decision, a pragmatic way of solving the current slump of the company. but why the hell that the MD said the GM was kinda satifiy with my performance, and if things were getting better, they would even consider to reinstate me to back to my previous positions. if they think someone is worth their salt and done all their best to contribute to the company, why they kick me out at the first place. do you think that i'm just a contract worker or something? u can easily call me back (when things are smooth then get rid of me when business are slow). i could nefer understand those kind of decisions. it's fucking unlogical...
anyway i planned to go back on monday to kuantan and play my PS2 for a whole fucking week. just for a week break. hehehe....

p/s" went to chyns place on the 30th. and my gosh his place were better than mine. and they even got a pool table for the staff. where the hell you can get that man? i wanna work there..ciss.... should ask chyn for his company's address or email address. the working environment are far more better than the one i went at kelana jaya. but the boss mentioned that they were working for a international clients and a few of big local clients. there was another advertising agency just above the place i went. it was naga BBDO. that agency were quite good too. once i saw this mag (all bout the stuff of advertising agencys. a few of those people from the agency (the cd's and ad's were in the mag. and they even got ranking for the agency. it was quite high also. unfortunately, murad hashim was not listed. hahahahha...talk bout 32 years of experience in the advertising field. and in the company profile they boasted that they were the top 3 in the region. come on man...this is the year 2005, not 1975...gosh...and they dare to write that...
