"New Discovery" that fuels the fire

Working late today. As usual, DATELINES. I'm tired of hating the people who causes this. But today, it's a blessing in disguise. Since i'm staying back, i surfed Jamtank. And some guy recommended this website (something like myspace) but better (according to the guy). Here, you can get bunch of this bands and artiste, Indie or Signed ones. Some of them not that bad even good. Well at least i know that there are a lot talented people out there......WHICH......... fuels my fire of playing my guitar and write songs.

I got a new Motto nowadays. I learned it from watching the secret. And my motto of my life starting this year till the end of my fucking life is "I WANT AND I WILL".

Still waiting for all the print outs of the magazine page. Arghhh... so slow. My eyes really can't stand it. But i will....

And one more thing that fuels my passion (for guitar playing) now came from this event that took place in Figure8 organised by Junk. The event was not bad... A lot of stuff to see and hear. Art, design and music. But THAT'S NOT MY INSPIRATION. My 'inspiration' came when i was standing behind this guitarist who played in this local band. I seem lost at that time. And unfortunately, i was standing behind him when he's taking photos with some girls. And when his photographer friend told him that someone (that's me) was standing behind him, i heard him utter something about me. So this guy think that he play for local band, and there were some chicks that were going nuts for him and he can behave like a fucking Rockstar. Ok... we'll see about that.

I paid for my Robert Kiyosaki Audiobook that i bought from "Lelong". I won the bid for 40bucks. Can't wait for the parcel to arrive. Interesting.....

Pulling out!!!!

I did something pretty amazing yesterday morning. I've been thinking of it since Sunday night. Even before i fell asleep, it was still in my head. I've been planning pull out of the band. I'm not really a cover song guy. That's why i wanted to play original stuff. Maybe it's not that good, but at least i got something to express my self. Nothing wrong with playing cover songs, but as you mature as a musician and a guitarist, you want self expression, not just learning cover songs. You wont have new bands or new songs by just learning covers, those bands that we are listening right now also doing their own original composition.

I message fei yesterday morning with the intention of pulling out. Telling him i don't really enjoy playing covers songs and it's a burden for me to learn covers. It's not that i think that i'm good, but it's just as a person that wanted to play music and a person with some background in arts and designs, you need something to express YOURSELF, not just copy from other people.

But the bad/good thing is... fei 'managed' to convince me to stay. I'm just a fucking softie. People just need a bit of effort to convince me into something. damn it....
