It was a very happy day for me. Well, it was my birthday. I waited hell long for a birthday. Just like the Olympics or the Euro. Was pretty 'lonely' at night. No messages or birthday wishes. But all the wishes came pouring in early in the morning. What can i say.. THANKS A LOT FOR THE WISHES. YOU GUY/GALS WERE GREAT.
Supposed to have a karaoke session at 11am. It was a working day, but we proceed with the plan. A few days before i asked the boss' permission for it. The best of all, the boss' offered to pay half of the expenses. Really appreciated that... After all the hard work and sleepless nights, i got something rather than nothing.
Karaoke was fun, invited an ex-colleague. As usual, i would sang the few songs. The MUST-SING list. In addition, i sang a Jacky's number. I wanted to sing another number but i didn't know the name of the song. Damn. But fortunately i got the name from my colleague's sis. She was a big fan. Too bad i didn't get to sing that one though. I practiced my ass off that song the other night, to the extend of translating the lyrics via 'pin yin'; the ABC style. Pretty hooked with that song these days.
At night it was another round of dinner with a few friends (Form 6 mostly) and a few good friends, Chyn and Khah Leong (unfortunately, he can't make it that day, he was stuck in the office after a heavy downpour). We were almost 15 minutes late for the dinner. Need to pick up Chyn from his place plus a few jams here and there.
The steamboat place needs no introduction from the people from the Klang Valley. It was packed for most of the day. And the most crazy thing of all, people tend to go crazy over the chicken wings. They just rush in and grab every piece of chicken wings available. It looked like a pack of hungry lions that almost starved to death pounced on a carcass of an elephant. The UGLY side of Malaysian. But since i also ate the chicken wings, i also part of them lah... i guess.
Got a card from PohYin. She sent the card from Singapore. Wow... I'm touched. Thanks!!!!
The food was OK. Got a lot of variety to choose from. Not like your usual cheapskate steamboat buffet. Everyone was damn full that day. Well.. will be waiting for the next event. Haha. It would nice to go for another round this coming April.

As Khah Leong can't make it on Friday, he promised that he will give a treat on Saturday. So on Saturday, we went to The Ship in Damansara Jaya. I ordered a sizzling steak. But when i got my food, apparently there was no 'sizzle' at all. Hmm.. the steak was just OK I guess. Nothing really special. Next trip, I'm going to belanja him. Thinking of going to Tony Roma's
