Gearing UP

Another week to Chinese New Year. Already prepared some stuff. Went out to buy some bak kua in Petaling Street. Helping a friend to buy too and not forgetting my aunt. I never knew that i was so bloody expensive. A kilo of those can cost up to RM90 bucks. I bought about RM 320 in total.

This week will be super boring. Coz now...already in HOLIDAY MOOD...

VF-1J and a freak accident

I finally....finally had this wish of mine fulfilled. It's been so bloody long.... it's been so many years.
So many years of heartache of looking at it at shopping display cabinets and also not mentioning at ebay and the internet.

I had a Macross Vf-1J (piloted by Hikaru Ichijo/Rick Hunter-US version) when I was only 4 or 5 years old. At that time, don't know what the hell is that. All I knew that this fighter plane, with stripes red can transform to a robot fighter and to semi robot and fighter plane mode (the gerwalk mode). I sill remembered that one of my cousin had a VF-1S (piloted by Roy Fokker) which one of the coolest Macross fighter (in terms of design). I like the skull motive on the plane with the combination of yellow and black.

So to cut the story short, I bought it from XL-shop the other day. It's quite hard to get a Macross these days. It's either been speculated by so-called collectors, which buy it for retail and sell it way above retail and sometimes enormous price. It's so fucking expensive and it could buy you Squire Telecaster California Series.

On the same day in Berjaya Times Square, there was this freak accident where a woman plunged to her death from 7 floors down. Till today, i could not figured out how it happened. The victim was 35. I think she was mature enough not to do silly things. The barricade in Times Square was high enough to prevent people from falling over. It was at least 4 to 5 feet high. Unless the lady leaped herself to death, i could not think of a valid reason for this.

It created a lot of commotion to the shopping mall. Shoppers stopped and watched. Everyone was very curious. Fortunately, not many people can actually see the body as it was already covered in black cloth from the partition. Well, i hope i don't have to watch the horrifying moment and the lady fell to her death....
