happy new year + side band project

would like to wish everybody a happy new year 2006. i wish next year would be more fruitful. i contacted someone from jamtank. replied to his post. and he said he's a beginner's level bassist, but he's an icom student. he knew his stuff (esp music knowledge) but unfortunately he's a singer but he wanted to do bass. so we already planned for a meet up soon (next year)

chat with that guy through msn, quite ok person. he's only 20 years old. based on the conversation, he listens to quite a number of stuff. and some i don't even knew bout it. i guess he's trying to make an impression. but anyway..we'll jam soon. and he said he can sing (perform for a choir group for 6 years, took classical singing lesson for 2-3 years) hmm..... let's see what we can do next.

at first i assume that guy would be a malay guy or something, but fortunately he's a chinese guy. not that i discriminate malays (hey...i got a good friends who are malay) but most of them are playing either punk or metal stuff. it's like there's no room for other things. or some chinese who's only into love songs / or techno. No AHBENG techno for me...hate it to the guts. lame stuff. or they just play a bloody chinese love song but sampled those techno beats to the songs. and they have to pay up for those shits!!! and alcohol too...

that guy even wanted to have a name for this SIDE-project. hmmm...let's see. what should we name this "SIDE-PROJECT"??
we'll brain-storm this later...
